about myself

Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, I spent twenty plus years in San Francisco, California. Returning to Canada in 1989, I accepted the position of Executive Director of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum Associates in Regina. In 1999, I moved to Whitehorse, Yukon; then, in the fall of 2003, found home in the village of Weymouth, Nova Scotia.

My move to Nova Scotia brought the pairing of metal with paper. After dragging home countless ‘unearthed’ metal parts, containers and a fender, paper met metal. There’s something about their individual textures, the way they work with one another that supports and/or wraps around my images.
